How to Order
Orders to
Phoenix Design fall into two categories:
Custom
Orders
First Time Custom Orders | Repeat
Custom Orders | Blank Goods
First Time Custom Orders
If you are placing a custom order with Phoenix Design for the
first time, please contact our helpful and experienced staff to discuss
your needs. We will be able to help you define which services and
products you may need to design the perfect custom creation you have in
mind. To help you prepare for a consultation, please fill out our Custom
Order Questionnaire (PDF format requires Adobe Acrobat
Reader).
To speed the process, please consider the following before you call,
fax, email or drop by our Muncie store:
1. What type of product
do you want to custom create? If your custom order requires
blank goods (i.e., t-shirt, sweatshirt, tote bag, mousepad etc.),
browse our Products for a of list items
that we carry.
2. What type of fabric or material is being customized?
Different processes are used for nylons than used for cottons,
especially with heat transfers. If possible, this information would be
helpful for us to know at the time you place your order.
3. Do you need custom art for your creation, or do you want
to use art submitted by you? Our art staff can create the
perfect logo or graphic for your creation, or we can adapt your
submitted artwork for customization. Please read our
Customer-Created
Art Specifications for complete details when submitting your
own art designs. Please note: If
you plan to use a design of a copyrighted or trademarked item to
Phoenix Design, you must warrant that you have been authorized by the
owner or its agent or representative to have that design manufactured
by Phoenix Design, and assume all liability which may be incurred by
infringement by unauthorized reproduction of the design.
4. Where will customized art or lettering be placed on your
creation? You should have an idea of how many different locations you want
customized on your creation. For example, a t-shirt could be
customized on the front pocket and full back, or full front and left sleeve.
5. What color or colors do you need? We have a wide
variety of colors available for custom order goods. We even have
specialty inks, such as glow-in-the-dark, reflective, metallic, and
glitter. If you're not certain which colors or how many colors
will produce the best result, our helpful staff will be able to
suggest several options.
Preliminary
approval and payment of deposit. After we have obtained all the
information needed for your custom creation, we will give you a price
quote for the quantity desired. At the time your order is placed,
we will require you to sign off for preliminary approval of your custom
order in person, by mail or by fax. Phoenix Design requires
prepayment of all art charges, as well as a 50% minimum deposit at the time the artwork
is approved so that the blank items can be ordered
for production. Payment can be made in person or by mail. Please see our
Payment Methods policy for further
details.
Final approval and production. After initial payment is
made, artwork is prepared for customer final approval and piece goods are ordered.
When the artwork is approved and the goods are received, the screens are then prepared and the order is scheduled for production.
Delivery and final payment. Upon order completion, either pickup or delivery is arranged and any balance remaining on the order is
due at that time. Please see our Shipping
rates for a breakdown of shipping charges.
Repeat
Custom Orders
If you would like to order additional pieces of a previously
placed and delivered custom order, we can fill that order on
demand. Simply contact us and relay the following information:

of additional pieces needed

Whether or
not the artwork needs to be updated or changed

Any changes
in colors or placement
Payment arrangements
can be made by mail or in person. When the order is complete, pickup or delivery is arranged.
Blank Goods
We offer a complete line of unprinted/blank products including a full line of corporate and casual clothing, team apparel, and promotional items.
A blank item can be ordered for either customization or for use "as
is" without customization. Because we have such a wide
variety of blank good offerings, we cannot list our prices online.

On
Demand Orders

Phoenix Exclusives
& Teletee™ Favorites
Here at Phoenix we have pre-printed exclusive designs in stock and
Teletee™ Favorites designs ready for customized production. Browse through
our products and place your order by filling out a Phoenix Design Order Form.
Then mail, fax, or call in your order to
Phoenix Design (see numbers on the yellow bar at the top of this page). Upon completion,
your order will be shipped directly to you. If you would like to
pick up your order at our store, please include that request on your
order form. All On-Demand Orders require full payment in
